Master,
pet is realizing that the developing D/s relationship isn't a journey without an itinerary. It just has an intinerary that pet cannot see. It is very difficult to fathom the existence of such a thing. Master holds this in His hands and knows that where pet is headed, is actually an amazing destination. pet doesn't know where all the stops or the detours are. Sometimes she feels that the detours are often self-limiting and she becomes frustrated that there must be a lesson that must be learned before she can continue to move along on her journey.
These stops and detours are where pet gets most hung up on. her fretting over details and being most desirous of seeing the itinerary is not allowing her to just ENJOY the journey itself. **sigh**
pet must begin to see things differently and just imagine that these stops are for her learn and refuel. These detours are where my fondest memories will occur and where my greatest lessons will happen. she must still her heart and be patient with herself and her Beloved Master. What value will the lessons hold and what memories can be made if she tries to experience them all at once? With patience, the memories will be sweeter. With patience, the lessons are made more valuable and not likely need to be relearned later because of her haste.
There is an amazing destination ahead. her long term D/s relationship with her Master. her collaring. her being owned by her Beloved.
What may seem like a useless detour, is really a memory that needs to be made or a lesson learned. pet must enjoy the scenery. pet must enjoy and savor this trip.
she must not allow herself to be swayed or hung up on things. she must just breathe...and enjoy. she must not fail to do so. If she does, she will miss out on meeting the most amazing people, seeing the most beautiful scenery, and learning the most valuable lessons. she must stop being so narrowly focused on trying to see the itinerary. It is not for her to see but to just merely be.
pet must TRUST her Beloved. she must trust that she is where she needs to be, when she needs to be there, and doing what must be done.
Each day she learns more of herself and becomes stronger. Though she often times allows impatience stall her forward momentum.
Tomorrow leads to the next destination. Tomorrow will come. Just as today, tomorrow her Master will lead her.
